Welcome to our new blog!

After 2 years of renting out our gorgeous stone villas through various third party travel sites such as Owner's Direct, Trip Advisor and Air BnB, we have decided it was time to create our own website so we can provide even more information to our viistors about the villas themselves and all of the fun and interesting things to do, places to see and the best food and drink in the area. Especially the latter - because who travels to Crete without thoroughly enjoying the local cuisine?

Samantha, Jerry and Freya Storer

We (myself, my husband Jerry and our children) have been travelling to the island of Crete from our home in the UK for over 20 years and have fallen so in love with the area we are planning to move there permanently in the next few years. After that many years, we thought we knew everywhere there is that's worth visiting, however, it has amazed us the little gems our visitors have uncovered over the last couple of years staying at our villas, so we want to make sure we're able to share these tips with our future visitors so they can get the most out of their stay.

If you've stumbled across our site as you're currently toying with the idea of a Greek holiday yourself, please do check out our villas and have a read through some of our reviews - you can also read up a bit more about the idyllic Greek village of Melidoni (shown below).

Whether you're looking for a relaxing, self-catered holiday where you do very little more than lounge around and enjoy the sun and pool or an adventure-packed holiday of gorge walks, mountain climbs and city exploring, our gorgeous and authentic stone villas are the perfect place for you to call 'home' during your stay.
